I must confess that I haven’t implemented so many animations and transitions in my Windows Phone apps. Sometimes I forget to do this and sometimes it seems too hard to get it right.

Windows Phone Toolkit has from the start tried to create features that should help us do this. But it was long ago that I looked into this feature. However, today I watched a webcast where Shawn Oster did an excellent job to explain what kind of animations that are available to use in this toolkit. I recommend watching it. It is only 16 minutes and it will save a lot of time for you.

I especially liked the new FeatherTurnStile, which difference from the ordinary TurnStile (which is a transition for a whole page) that each control on the page is turnstiled independently.
